Maria Tells a Story
Mark and Maria enjoyed their meal while watching chipmunks scamper around, gathering newly fallen chestnuts. After lunch, they gazed at the clouds as they drifted by and pointed out animal shapes to each other. As they relaxed in their secret hideaway, Mark asked Maria, “Do you have any new stories for me?”
“Yes,” she said with a smile.
